Accessibility

Arca Gear wants everyone to be able to shop our site, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Our site is built on our own Shopify theme, so we fix accessibility issues directly in the code rather than relying on an overlay widget. We test with automated tools (axe and Lighthouse) and by hand with a keyboard.

What we've done

• Text and buttons meet AA color-contrast levels.
• Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
• Product and lifestyle photos have descriptive alt text.
• Pages use clear headings and labeled form fields.
• Animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.

If anything on our site is hard to use, please tell us. Email customerservice@arcagear.com and include the page and what happened. We'll help you place your order directly and fix the issue.

Some parts of checkout, payments and customer reviews are provided by third parties (Shopify, PayPal and Loox). We work with them on issues we find.
